WOW joined the Open Air Art Camp in the harvest of local waste materials for a workshops run in a disused warehouse next to the Hackney Wick train station. The open air art camp is an initiative by the muf art / architecture. The ambition of the camp is for artists and local children to work together and create a collaborative work that enables local children to experience the artists' way of thinking and of making the most of available materials, spaces, places and experiences. The collaboration encouraged the children to imagine growing up to be the next generation of artists to inhabit the studios and work spaces in Hackney Wick and Fish Island, while at the same time engaging with environmental practices.
